I am close to thinking I could make a party out of just about anything if I wanted to.  I just had my first jewelry design party yesterday.  I invited some of my girlfriends over and got nearly free labor all in the guise of a party!  How slick is that!  Cool

I had some cheese & crackers, vegies & fruit, cookies & candies, and hot tea & virgin mamosas. We sat around and talked about life and made jewelry.  We made a bunch of pinkie rings and they helped me assemble a couple of other pieces under some supervision.  It was quite fun.

I finished off the day at a party to celebrate the grand openning of THE Annex, a new furniture gallery in town that is carrying some of my jewelry line. I sipped on a little white wine as I mingled in a little black cocktail dress wearing my "Abundance of the Heart" necklace and bracelet.  It looked quite beautiful I must say.

And then I did a boutique at the local Catholic church today.  I had a lot of fun talking with all of the other vendors.  I told many of them about marketing their things on etsy.   One fun part of my day was when a lady came by my table and said, "Hey, I have one of your rings!  I bought it in a shop downtown.  I love it!"  I was just recently wondering how it would feel to run into some one who had purchased a piece of my jewelry that I had never met before.  I sure did not think it would be that soon!  I also made many new friends who are routing for my sucess.  I’m looking forward to celebrating it with all of you!  That will definitely be something to throw a party for!!  It is so encouraging to know so many of you believe in what I’m doing and are routing for me.  Love You!
